I enjoy design and creativity, whether it's a school Pink Piña Colada project for Pi Day, a table-sized homeschool geography course, or a beautiful garden of flowers. Playing games, solving puzzles, and attending football games are some of my other passions in life while coffee shops are my comfy place.

TRAVEL
My passion for language & culture has sent me to 18 faraway places.
With views from the top of the Eiffel Tower, my European Summer Abroad was filled with shopping during Paris's fashionable les soldes and 6 hours per day of intense French instruction. My travels brought my older son and me to the shores of Dunkirk where Operation Dynamo took place and to the Grand Ducal Palace of Luxembourg where we ate at our favorite restaurant, L'Entracte. A tour of Italy found us discovering the ruins of the Colosseum, St. Mark's Cathedral of Venice, the colorful fishing village of Burano, and the glass blowing shops of Murano.
